7 Steps to Curb Rage, Worry, Fear π¨
πImprove your health, release the grips of autopilot reactivity for soul healing!
Science has finally begun to acknowledge the incredible power of our consciousness.
Consciousness is the amalgamation of your beliefs, thoughts and feelings that has a powerful role in creating your reality.
For many people, their ordinary consciousness is usually not energetically coherent. By that, I mean not in alignment with the way you desire your life to be.
When it comes to our thoughts and feelings, many people are on a kind of “reactive autopilot.” We rage, worry and fear with abandon, but this has detrimental effects on our health, the hormonal bath our cells live in, the way our genes express themselves and ultimately how we get to experience our lives.
Epigenetics is the environment our genes are affected by. It includes things like diet and exercise, but also the energetic environment of our feelings, thoughts, and the nurturing connections we have.
In his Epigenetic research, Dr. Bruce Lipton has shown that this reactivity has a negative impact on our health, wellbeing, and ability to think clearly.
Conversely, coherent consciousness is an important piece for creating the best life p
ossible!
So, how do you antidote your “reactive autopilot?”
Well, first recognize that your current feelings often stem from an earlier event in your life that gets triggered by the present circumstance. Our initial emotional responses to an external stimulus are simple: they are Mad, Sad, Glad, and Scared.
However, feelings (what we project into the world as a result of the initial stimulus) can be very diverse. For some people a scary situation can make them feel angry, or depressed, or like they failed, or any number of responses based upon previous experiences.
If you have the experience of an automatic response that becomes habitual, it may mean that you may need to do some personal “investigative research” to find the “inner button” that replays a previous feeling. This can mean journaling, doing shamanic journeys or seeking support from a professional counselor or coach who can help heal old beliefs.
Also, cultivating self-induced positive emotions can not only improve our emotional well-being but also has far-reaching effects on our physiological health, cognitive abilities, emotional flexibility, and social interactions. This underscores the importance of emotional self-regulation in promoting overall wellness and resilience.
Here are 7 quick steps to curb rage, worry and fear by healing your auto pilot reactivity" and embracing thoughts and feelings for emotional well-being that can be very helpful in all circumstances.
#1. STOP Take a minute to just stop thinking about the triggering experience or replaying the moment. If you’re driving, pull over safely.
#2. CLOSE YOUR EYES This is a way to help quiet your perceptual field. If you are a sensitive, you may also want to cover your ears for a few minutes, too.
#3 NOTICE YOUR HEARTBEAT In a stress reaction, we usually have an elevated heart rate so give your heart your focus. Your heart is the strongest transmitter you have! It pulses your feelings throughout your body and to the world around you.
#4 BREATHE Imagine that with each breath that you are bathing your heart in soothing energy.
#5 REMEMBER LOVE While you continue to breathe, recall a time you were with someone, a precious creature or some place that you love!
#6 TAKE TIME Don’t rush this. Allow your body, mind and spirit to get calm and centered.
#7 REPLACE & IMMERSE Make a new scene to replace what triggered you! Make it rich, full of feeling and something you can replay anytime you need a “reset/realignment.”
This reset opens up the fullness of your being and gives you an opportunity in your daily life to not only reset but use the recovery moments to support what you are moving toward.
For this last step, I like to make my replacement scene something new I am weaving into manifestation! In this state, you can immerse yourself in your desire, feeling what it is like to already be happening, NOW.
Engage all of your senses in this new memory. What does it sound like? What scents are around you, what colors, textures and such are around you. Most importantly, step into the feelings of whatever it is, ALREADY BEING HERE. To co-create reality, we need to focus from a place of our desire already being fulfilled.
Feelings are what matters, so for instance, if you are looking to relocate, allow yourself to feel what the new location feels like, how you feel in it, what getting up in the morning there feels like and so on.
Just imagine what our world will be when more people learn to antidote their “reactive autopilot!” It all starts with YOU!
The reset steps are wonderful to teach children! They can learn how to work with feelings and how to feel better when something upsets them.
